What’s with Sunday?
t did not come as a surprise. Those people really do not know me that much yet. Even my husband did not get away with it. All those eye contacts, email things and all those events that sum up to one final answer: I know something is cooking!First is I overheard my agents talk and secretly meeting and saying things that lets meet up on Sunday…Hmm? Fritz usually goes home to his hometown every weekend but then he is going out with his teammates on a Sunday? I just shoved it off. Maybe there is something special that they are the only ones who knew about and they just did not want to share it to me. That’s fine. Next weird thing is, Kristine told me to wait for a text on Sunday coz maybe she is treating me for lunch. Sunday? Hmmm? Maybe it is just a coincidence. Next Neo suddenly sent an email that they will meet up on Sunday without deleting my name in the list. This is getting weird. Therefore, I tested her and asked her that wherever they are going, I am going with them…Then there was no reply. Then of course trying to make it not so obvious, Neo emailed again (still my name on the list), asking Glyna to go with them because they are buying a wristwatch somewhere. On that same Sunday? Now I know that something is cooking on Sunday. Then that was not it. I noticed them huddling in the locker room and then suddenly give those trying to be innocent faces once I got in. I remember when Joe, Emelyn and Jaffie went to our house I saw Joe talking to my husband. However, it did not dawned to me that time until I realized as I was trying to solve the puzzle, that there is really something and he was asking my husbands phone number. One final clue that confirms it all, on our way down, in the elevator, Bem suddenly told Jaffie that they will meet up on Sunday…There goes that word again…BINGO! I know that they are trying to surprise me. Still it is not clear, how and where. Therefore, I just observed my husband. He suddenly gets those weird phone calls and when talking to the person on the other line, he just gives a one or two word answer. He is not like that. I overheard him said, “Yes, at Trixie’s” There you go…100% confirmed. However, I do not want to spoil them so I just went with the flow. He told me that we are going somewhere but I delayed in myself in taking a bath. But he just nagged and nagged me to take a bath. Second, there was no food for lunch? Well, we are eating out anyway. So we were on our way to the venue. I told him I want to eat somewhere else so we do not have to pass by Trixie’s. But he insisted that he wants to go thee. So when we arrived, the curtains were down, the door was closed and its dark inside. So unlikely…And it was so silent! Hahaha! You people cannot fool me… I am just too smart for that… Honestly, I was not surprised…But I really, really am thankful for the effort of trying to surprise me… Thank You for thinking of me and making this day special. Even if it is still not my Birthday…. Guys, THANK YOU for making my day… I am surprised! (Notice the sarcasm). Wink!
