I know that it’s still too early, but as early as now, I am now thinking of what to buy my grandmother this May. This second week of May will be mother’s day. Because my grandmother got a stroke a couple of years ago, she could barely walk right now. It always breaks my heart every time I see her trying to walk from one corner of her room to the other and how hard it looked. I’m thinking of stairlifts maryland so she can go up and down the stairs with ease. Each time I visit her, I see her face lift up and I know that she is happy when I am around. And I also see how much she wanted to go down stairs and spend time with my kids and some of her great grandchildren. But she could not just do that every time she wants to because of her condition. I hope when she gets that stair lift, she can enjoy those moments she longs for every now and then. I love my grandma and I know that sooner or later she has to leave. And the least that I can do for her is to make her last days with us a beautiful one and leave good memories when she will go.

My kids love to play online games. But I am always careful on what type of games my kids would play. I discovered a site for them. There are funbrain games for them. I know they will love to play funbrain arcade games at funbrain com. I enjoyed it. I will let them try it too.

This coming July, my husband and I will be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary. Though it’s still early, I am already thinking of a gift that I would give my husband on that day. I need to plan ahead because I need to save for it as well. I am thinking of buying him a Casio G Shock watch. He wanted to buy himself one for quite sometime already. He always stops by the watch section every time we go to the mall. I know that he is dying to own one already. He would really be surprise if I get him one this coming July as my wedding anniversary gift for him.

My husband and I are planning to move to a bigger house since my kids are growing up already. A two-bedroom house would no longer fit us. But we love our house already. We love our neighbors here too. I tried to compare the pros and cons of moving. If we move, yes a bigger house means bigger space of course. My kids could have their own bedroom and not share it. But thinking f moving makes me very tired already. The packing we have to do, transporting of our furniture and all. It would be good if we have Moving Services Los Angeles that would help us transport our things. Once we are done transporting comes the arranging. I’m already tired even thinking about it. But if we won’t move, our house has become smaller already. The kids are getting bigger too. So what now? Should I move or not? But then again, I really dot have to decide right now. I am just actually thinking out loud. That’s why I am writing this post. It’s my way of releasing out of my mind. But when the day we finally decide to move, I know its all for the best. I just have to bid goodbye to this house that I learned to love.

My husband was a football player back in college. But I never get to watch him play the sport. Now he still fantasizes playing the sport. He watches the sports every now and then on TV. I sometimes sit beside him and would always try my best to understand the sport. He sometimes goes football betting with his friends. I always give him this time for himself. I would not squeeze myself into the picture and pretend to understand what they are watching. The only thing that I could do to support him is to prepare snacks for him. I always say in my previous posts that I am not really domestic. But sometimes I would really try to be. I can’t cook so I just buy ready to eat snacks for him. I know he appreciates it. I am not a sport person, but at least sometimes I try to sit beside him and pretend for a while that I am also interested. But most of the time, I let him be. As a wife and partner, I know I have to do this. Not because I am obliged to do it but because I wanted to do it. That’s how I show my husband that I love him.

The school year is about to end. In a few days, my kids will enjoy vacation. I am thinking already of how to let my kids enjoy their vacation. In a few years time, my kids would no longer be kids but teenagers. I would see my little boy wearing those hip hop clothes instead of the usual shorts and sleeveless shirts. My little girl would already wear makeup instead of ribbons. When that day would come, I’ll prepare myself. But I doubt if their Dad is ready for it.

Be fun! Hey ladies- lighten up! The empahis os on fun. Too many of us walk around like we are sucking on lemons. Who in the world would want to be around with someone like that? Our lives should be a reflection of God, who created us and this world in which we live. We, as wives, can set an example and help create an environment in our homes that makes it be easy to be around us, as well as fun.

As I was checking online, I came across a picture of a beautiful living room. I started to miss the living room I grew up with which is at my “Granny’s house”. One thing that is still fresh in my memory right now is the beautiful decorated Venetian blinds in the window. I wanted to have one now. One, it’s beautiful and classic. Two, it keeps my childhood memories alive.

Always be a great example to him, as well as to others, of what a godly, virtuous woman should be. Never behave in such a way that you have to apologize for yourself. “But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.” (James 3:17)
