Should I still?

My friends commented that people at work are slowly getting slimmer. Its either they are in love, they are sick, they are desperate to get a boyfriend or they are on a diet. It’s like the latest fad at work. Even guys are planning to go on jogging, badminton, gym and like to get those unwanted fats out. It’s a good fad though. It encourages me to do the same. In that case, I don’t need to get that best weight loss pills. Or should I still?

Amidst Adversity

I was and am feeling down these past few days. There has been a lot of drama, pains heartaches, tears you name it that I went through this week. I am slowly coping. And after a few days of being in solitude, I decided to write again. Maybe this will help me ease the pain a little bit. So, I started to search online for some nice things to say in my post. I found a costume jewelry that reminded me of someone. I have a friend who just gave birth, but I never visited her or even called her because I was so preoccupied with my own snuffling. I remembered her suddenly because she used to make earrings and bracelets and sell it at work. It was a good reminder for me. Friends are important. I felt that these few days. The comfort of a friend, even if they are geographically unreachable, but you know that they are just there. They just popped up from nowhere when they heard that you are down. Gives you encouraging words, and sustain that little strength that is left in you. But friends should not just be there when you are down. You need to be with them too and share their joy. And that’s what I am doing now. In spite of weariness, I’m literally now grabbing my phone and call my friend and congratulate her for her new born baby. Amidst diversity, I am able to share joy. Wonderful!

Get Your Own Style

I may not be a fashion guro but I know that boots has always been part of fashion. It has been there even when I was still a kid. I know I had a red boots when I was still 3 years old. Now, my 6 year old daughter also has one. People I know one way or the other has worn one. Now there are also work boots that’s available. There are different styles and brands. I heard about justin boots, ariat boots and many other. It made me interested to get one for myself. But I am not sure if it would look good on me. Sometimes, in fashion, though its still in style, if it does not suite you, then don’t force yourself to follow the trend. Get your own style instead.

Harley Davidson Boots

I always wanted to wear boots. I find it attractive if I see a woman wears a Harley Boots. I found a nice pair of Harley Davidson Boots online. But I have second thought of buying it. Though I know the store offers good customer service and all but boots just doesn’t fit me that’s all…

My friends and I went to the mall yesterday. We went window shopping after dinner. As we were on the dress section, one of my friends commented that she could not wait for another corporate affair in our company so she can buy the dress. I enjoy those days as well. Seeing ladies in their beautiful dresses and guys with their bow ties. Well, we might not just notice it but Christmas party would just come soon.

Necessity

I started to get little headaches every now and then. I especially have this when I get to spend too much in front of the computer. I know it’s about time to have my eye checked. It gets teary once in a while too. I am ready for an eyeglasses already. I have convinced myself that sooner or later, no matter how I avoid it, I’m just going to wear it. Since I will have my glasses soon, I might as well get a good one. One that would not make me looks old too. Price matters as well. It should not be expensive too. I know Zenni glasses has its personal and fashion styles. It is durable, safe and comfortable to wear at a truly reasonable and affordable price. I tried checking out their glasses. I never thought I could get quality glasses at a low cost. But when I saw Zenni glasses, I realize it’s possible. With these kind of glasses, I don’t mind wearing them everyday. I should not complain anymore because I know that I really need to already. No more excuses. Just have to deal with the fact that I ma not getting any younger and that wearing glasses is not for fashion but now a necessity for me.

I got a bonus. I had extra money today so I met with my husband at the mall to eat lunch with him. I asked my friend to come along and she did. After lunch, my husband went home ahead because he needed to attend to our son’s PTA meeting. So my friend and I planned to go window shopping for her coming baby. In 3 months she will become a mother. But the plan did not push through for we ended up shopping for beauty stuff. We were checking out some whitening lotion, checked out the best anti wrinkle cream, the most scented body wash and all that girly stuff. I enjoyed it and the amount I spent today did not matter anymore.

What a Relief

Last night, it was my Big Boss’ birthday. We were invited to attend and since he is our boss, my colleagues and I decided to join. It was a Sunday and was supposed to be a family day. I had to meet my friend somewhere so we can go to the party together. After going out with my family, I did not have the time to change. I was in my usual normal day-to-day attire. I was worried but when I saw my friend wearing the same thing, I got relieved a little. I could picture in my mind the people wearing formal party attire and I would really be out of place. But when I saw the celebrant, he was not wearing a men’s tuxedo or something formal. Whew! I was very relieved or this could have been one of my most embarrassing moments.
