Be Free

Friday, June 11th, 2010

I need a break. There has been a lot of stress in work these past few days. There were deliverables and audits left and right. I had to deal with agents that has problems in motivating themselves to come to work. That’s also apart from the family crises that we are facing right now. I wanted to book myself to a caravan park and just enjoy one whole day with me, myself and I. It seems selfish, but I really need time to be alone. I wanted to be somewhere where I can only see beautiful things. Where I can be myself without worrying on what the person beside me would say. I can be crazy and mad for a day. Do things that I have not done for a long time. Run around, sing, shout, dance and just be free. Sometimes, I long for these moments where I will not worry about a single thing. And most of all, where I can contemplate, laugh at those mistakes I’ve made, get scared and be brave again in just a snap. In other words, I wanted to crawl out of my system even for just 5 minutes. And when I have my fill, then I’d be ready to be back to reality again.

Hawaiian Dream

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Every summer, I always bring my kids to the beach. I love the breeze and the smell of the sea. Most of all I love the food that we bring and prepare. I have been to every kind of beaches already. Since I was a child it has always been a tradition in our family to always go to the beach every summer. But there is one place that I have dreamt of going. One day, I will go to Hawaii. I found out online that I can find a great Hawaiian cheap vacation rental. There are rentals starting from as low as $75. I wanted to spend a whole summer in Hawaii. Hawaii’s natural beauty, warm tropical climate, inviting waters and waves makes me want to be there even more. I wanted to try sailing, or watch surfers’ play with the ride the waves. I would not dare try that sport though. I know this is just one of my fancy dreams. But I could not help it. I just love the beach and Hawaii has some of the best beaches in the world. Can’t wait for the day when I can finally step into the sandy beaches of Hawaii.

City By The Beach

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

I wanted to have a house of my own someday. We are still renting an apartment as of the moment. But soon we are definitely going to buy a house of our own. Have you ever felt that you really wanted to own something very badly? That’s what I felt when I saw the houses online posted in Blue Coast Realty. The houses were so beautiful it made me envious. Especially that the houses were located at Wilmington, North Carolina. This city which is also known as Port City is the dream place where I want to live in the future. I love to live in a city by the beach. Or live in a place that’s near a creek, river or anywhere that is close to nature. I have been living in the city almost all of my life and for a change when I finally get to buy a house of my own, I definitely would live in a place like Wilmington. I still have lots of savings to do first though. But I just can wait for the day when I finally would pack all my things and move to my new house near the beach and for sure will grow old there.

Love Thy Neighbors…

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

I have a friend who I am helping look for an apartment. I know the types such as Boston Studio Apartments would fit him. He needs to move because the one that he is renting now is already too expensive for him. He has some other financial factors to consider that is why he needs to move. I wish there is also a Rental Assistance in our country. I know looking for a house is not easy. Been there, done that! I remember those days when we literally have to drive all over town just to look for a house that would fit our needs and budget. That’s one factor to consider first and foremost. Second is location of course. You have to be in a place that is accessible to work. It would also be a plus point if you are near a convenience store as well. And most of all, you should be able to love your neighbor. Living in a place where you have neighbors that act like they don’t have neighbors really sucks. Sooner or later you are bound to be sued because of harassing them or the other way around. Good thing I am happy where I am living now and most of all, I am happy that I love my neighbors too.

Home

Friday, March 19th, 2010

I have always wanted to travel. But until then, it’s still going to be a wish for now. I don’t have to check a travel directory to know where I want to be. If given a chance, it has been my dream to always got to Vatican City and relive the memories of my belief there. Next stop would be Disneyland of course. I’m going to bring my kids there and be like a child again for a day. Next would be in Paris where it’s just going to be me and my husband only. And there we will rekindle our love. There are just too many paces where I want to be. But the most beautiful place where I always want to be is Home. Home is really where my heart is. Wherever I hear my kid’s laughter ringing, their smiles and dreams, I can live forever there. Wherever I will be greeted with a sweet kiss from my husband when I get home from work and wake up every morning seeing the face of a man I wanted to be with, I can live forever there. So, why go far when I am always where I always want to be.

Strategic Planning

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Tomorrow we are going to have our first Strategic Planning with our new SOM. We will be going to Cordova. As I checked my email, I saw the itinerary for the 2 days activity. First day: it’s going to be a whole day conference. Where is R&R (rest and recreation)? I asked my self, silently of course. But then I had to think again. If we are running a business, we should be doing this conference because this is important. Small businesses needs business plan consultants, how much more a big company like this. So, I rephrased my thoughts. At least we are going out…Would it be better to just stay at the 12th floor conference room instead? NO way…

Catmon Beach

Monday, October 26th, 2009
These are my kids Phoebe and BJ in one of the beaches in Catmon Cebu.  The sand is not that white though but the beach is clean…

And the house we rented was very beautiful and not to mention very cheap.

Plantation Bay

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

Real carousel rideThis is the first time I went to plantation bay… I could not go home and not tour all around the Resort.  The resort was so big that you could not go around it walking…You could ride their cart or the “calesa”… We chose to ride the latter…It was a fun experience because ever since I was a child it always thrills me to ride in a “calesa” as we call it here in the Philippines…

Just enjoying the rideEnjoying it so much…

Fish pond

That’s me…My friend Michelle took this shot (we have the same name)… I kind of directed her to make this shot…But it was a great experience being able to be in a 5 star resort here in Cebu…Another place I always wanted to be…( I came back here and was here three times already on different occasions…)
